Walk upstairs to your bedroom
Pick up the coins from under your pillow.
Walk to the dentist's office, and talk to him.
Go to the candy store, and hand click on the green, minty gum (below creepy man in a green container)
Give the minty gum to the dentist.
Take an instrument from the dentist (preferably the spoon).

Go back to the candy store, and talk to creepy man about business.
Go into the bakery, and ask Josh if he has any baking supplies around.
Give the sugar that Josh gave you to creepy man in the candy store.
In your inventory, combine the acid you got from creepy man with the instrument you got from the dentist. The instrument that works is the spoon. Anything else would melt. If your instrument melted, go back to the dentist, and click the partially melted instrument on him. You’d eventually figure out that only the spoon works with the acid.

Apply the acid with the spoon onto the bars that block you from the running sewage of the village. (These bars are just left of the door to the candy store)
Click the hand tool on the melted bars, and you’ll find yourself by the sewage.
Climb into the hole that light is coming through, walk into the classroom, and take the ruler by the left chalkboard.
Go back into the village, talk to the ladies in the beauty parlor, then to the butcher.
Walk to the fields where you can see the village in the distance, and grab the yellow grain growing outside of the fence.
Walk inside your tree house, and put the grain and yeast you have into the giant beer-making container.
Give the beer to the butcher.
Now that the butcher is out of your way, walk to the lower level of the butcher shop, snatch Fru-Fru, and take the pair of “quality, diamond edged knives” near the top of the middle of the wall.
Give Fru-Fru to the beauty salon lady.
Go to the swamp, use the ruler on gator.

Walk right, (the gator will no longer hurt you), and talk to the dragon flies.
Go to the butcher shop, and undress the butcher
Go back to the swamp.
Use the knives you stole to get lichen off the tree to your right.
Chew the gum in your inventory.
Combine the chewed gum, lichen, and butcher’s clothes all together in your inventory.
Put the chewed gum / lichen / butcher’s clothes on you.
Go to Alma’s ball.
Try to enter the party, Alma will come out.
Talk to Alma, then go to the bakery.
You will “ask Josh on a date”, and Josh will follow you.
Walk into the beauty parlor (Josh will follow you in)
Josh gets a makeover, and soon you find yourself with the new Josh at Alma’s.
Try to enter the party, and Alma will come out.
Alma is impressed, and breaks the enchantment that stops you from going into the room with hole.
Walk right, into the room with the hole (not the bathroom).
Jump into the hole.
